I am an imperfect Jesus freak. A fun loving, friend, sister, aunt, teacher, and writer.
I enjoy living life and being healthy. I am currently training for my sixth marathon. I am a veggie lover who also loves chocolate and ice cream.
I am currently a third year doctoral student in applied demography. I am interested in the areas of food insecurity and health disparities. My undergraduate degree is in theology and liberal arts. My masters degrees are in education and community counseling.
I am passionate about everything and everyone that I love. I love learning about people and the world around me. I hope to continue traveling in the future. I love to dance and practice yoga.
I have strong opinions and am just as strong of a listener. I always like to put myself in the other person’s shoes. I hope to make the world a better place one day at a time.
I have written a blog off and on since creating a LiveJournal in the early 2000s. I have kept a journal since I was seven years old. This blog is to give readers a glimpse into my life and the process of writing a book. So many people have approached me over the years and encouraged me to write a book. I first decided to start writing a book in 2010. I decided to put more effort into writing this book in 2013.Β This blog is about my life and all of the wonderful adventures I find myself in on a daily basis. The blog will also have encouragement and support for daily life(because life has ups and downs).

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog.
